Border Management Authority Bill passed

The South African National Assembly passed the Border Management Authority Bill on 8 June 2017, which would establish a Border Management Authority to oversee all aspects concerning the management of the 72 ports of entry in South Africa.

The implementation of the Bill after it becomes law n is expected to take nearly 3 years.
